Some post in English

For a long time I’d wanted to make a dress and it took me a long time to find the right pattern and fabric. I’m very happy to share with you the latest dress I made with Minerva.com Stretch Woven Cotton Sateen Fabric

This is my first blog post for Minerva. I would like to tell you how I use the Damask Stretch Brocade Fabric. I hope you like it and that my experience will be useful to you.

I really like this fabric, I find it fascinating, it recalls historical times in which it was used to make clothes for ceremonies and social gatherings.

Christmas Kimono

Posted in Minerva blog on Friday the 14th December 2018 by Vicki Ormerod on Minervacrafts Blog.

Hi, here I am again on the blog with a Christmas sewing story!
Have you ever seen the “Christmas with the Kranks”? I got inspired the moment when Jamie Lee Curtis took out her Christmas gilet. I’ve always wanted one or at least something like that ... so the time to make one has finally come.

It will not be an actual gilet, I prefer calling it a Christmas kimono set on the Simplicity Pattern 1318...
